Topic: the door won't open when i put the object in its slot?(reb@eidos read)

could reb@eidos read because he is an expert.iam using the turtorial wads. i put down the PUZZLE_ITEM6 down on the floor and put a PUZZLE_HOLE6 on the wall.
i then put door_type4 on the wall.
i want to pick up the item 6 place it into the hole6 and let the door open how do i do it? i have done all of the triggers. and it won't work could u please tell me exactly what to do? IP: Logged |

Look at my topic, STUPID DOOR......etc., I have the same problem, except with a key, and I'm using Coastal Ruins wads, but look, Reb@Edios said some things to help me, but they didn't work, but the might help you!Happy Tombraiding! ------------------

no i tried everything even.....well just everything. my game is going so well until this i just can't get the door to open.but mine is worse thane yours because i have to put in a object into a slot and when inserted the door should open but it don't so iam really anoyed now.IP: Logged |

On the square where your Puzzle hole is located, place a trigger for your Puzzle Hole and make sure you designate the trigger as a "Key" trigger. On the same square put your trigger to open the door. When you place the key, the door opens. At least that's how mine works. Good luck. IP: Logged |
